You can choose the colour of the pen (even though there is only Red, Black and Blue), and tweak a few options here. By going into the menu, you get loads of options Draw, Paint, Erase, Record Sound, Import a Photo, Change Playback Speed, Play, Forward, Send to a Friend, Save and Erase everyhting on the current frame.
I’ve tried drawing with my finger, but what it came out with wasn’t pretty. You draw the frame on the touch screen, using the stylus. You can also access the menu by tapping the little frog in the bottom-left of the touch screen. While creating a FlipNote, the D-Pad does several things Up takes you to the menu, down plays your FlipNote, Right takes you to the next frame (if there isn’t one, it makes one), and left takes you back a frame. You can set it to automatically copy the previous frame, which is nice, because it means you dont have to keep drawing every frame. There is also a Calendar that displays recently created FlipNote’s, A few options and a Help menu.Īnyway, you make animations by drawing, or editing, each frame.
